Trabzonspor keen on Real Madrid's Altintop - report
The Turkish giants are looking to reunite the midfielder with his brother as they have earmarked the Blancos' player as the perfect addition to their midfield
Hamit Altintop appears to be on his way out of Real Madrid at the end of the season as Trabzonspor have shown an interest in signing the Turkey international in the summer transfer window, AS reports.
The 29-year-old joined Madrid from Bayern Munich on a free transfer ahead of the 2011-12 campaign, but he has since been unable to secure regular first-team action at Los Blancos.
Therefore, Altintop is keen to move on again in order to see more game time elsewhere, and Trabzonspor are keen to lure the midfielder to Istanbul.
The Turkish side are desperate to strengthen their squad ahead of next season after failing to fight for the title this term and they see Altintop as the perfect addition.
Halil Altintop, the Madrid player's brother, is already under contract with the club and has supposedly been talking to Hamit in an attempt to convince him to join the Karadeniz Fırtınası.
The midfielder has a contract with Madrid until the summer of 2015, but the Liga champions are ready to cash in on Altintop if a good offer comes in.
He has previously been linked with Galatasaray.
